My 1st instinct was STFU. However lemme try and help u understand. My Great Grandfather's, Great Grandpa was brought thru a port in South Carolina to Alabama and enslaved. My Fathers Family was owned By Crawford Long (Google). The vocabulary I use is just truthful. My grandfather's family must have been owned by British people. If that offends you, you need to search within yourself as to why. I was elated to found out that the weird breakfast we ate, including blood pudding has an origin and because of my travel and success I got to discover what that origin was. My grandfather, who is the grandchild of a slave had an opportunity in his lifetime to see his grandson enjoy freedom, help provide freedom to others and travel to the place of origin that our breakfast came from. I wish I knew more about my personal history, but I will never be ashamed for having overcame what black encountered here. U shud humble ya self and not tell me or other black people how to commemorate and commiserate our ancestors and their struggles. Happy black history month and enjoy the day, bubba.
