Mark Epstein Vs. Nick Tartaglione
Mark Epstein is highly skeptical of the newly released suicide note purportedly written in prison by his late brother Jeffrey. Mark disputes the authenticity of a jailhouse note unsealed this week, calling it “the work of a professional forger.”
The Note: “They investigated me for month — FOUND NOTHING!!!” the note reads. “So 15 year old charges resulted. It is a treat to be able to choose one’s time to say goodbye.. Watcha want me to do — Bust out cryin!! NO FUN – NOT WORTH IT!!”
Mark claims the note is forgery but does not dispute that it bears striking resemblance to his brother’s penmanship. “It wouldn’t be hard to get some pro forger to forge a note,” he told Business Insider. “That’s the easiest f***ing thing in the world to do.”
He had also acknowledged that the “bust out cryin” line is a reference to the “Little Rascals” TV show that they grew up watching in the 1960s.
The same phrase appears in multiple emails from Jeffrey to his brother and friends. “It’s public knowledge, it’s in the emails” he told the outlet. “So they stole it from me to make it sound like it was him.”
However, that timing doesn’t add up.
The emails Mark is referencing were only revealed by the Justice Department in the past year, as part of a larger release of files related to him, while the suicide note has been under seal by a judge this whole time.
The judge unsealed the note after NYT’s petitioned for its release.
Case in point: It’s highly unlikely Nick could have known Epstein was fond of this particular phrase.

Charlie wrote a book about MAGA. Charlie stood with President Trump’s leadership. There are malicious actors who will try to tease apart Kirk and Trump to sell their story to the masses. Joe Kent is obviously one of those people.
It seems Charlie was generous enough with his time to make everyone who touched his life feel important to him.
But we’ve entered this new phase where his relationships are a topic that get woven into other topics.
Apparently Charlie used the term “moral blackmail”. The concept is fraught but I get what he means. Because when you invoke Charlie’s name into the crafting of a particular narrative you are pressuring people to not challenge the truth of the substance of what is said.
You are anticipating that due to our good nature, and strength of our moral principles —we would not even think about cross-examining your claims, out of sheer respect for Charlie. We are therefore supposed to accept any version of the truth because anything associated with Kirk takes on a sanctified meaning as if it was blessed by a Saint.
So I can see where the “blackmail” piece fits in: the abuser can say anything they want about Charlie, and we are coerced into silence because if we speak out we might face the wrath of the millions who mourn Charlie.
We are caught in this dynamic, by the virtue of having virtue. Speaking out therefore carries risks because of the emotional and political weight of Charlie Kirk in the public sphere.
If misinterpreted, as we surely would be, propagandists will imply we are contesting Charlie’s wisdom, grace, character, reputation. Therefore they can use Charlie Kirk as a shield from criticism while smuggling in falsehoods. They can use Charlie Kirk to convince the conservative audience they are on the same team while advancing an altogether separate agenda.
This is effective because Charlie was wise, and did good things, and made people in his life feel important and connected to an important mission. People have even called him a martyr. We treated it as a National Tragedy and it felt like that; because huge gatherings all around the country mourned him.
Now people like Joe Kent invoke his name to make claims about Trump’s agenda (a man Charlie wrote a book about and believed in) and Israel (a country Charlie believed was good). Joe used the same tactic yesterday by mentioning his dead wife in his letter.
We respect the dead: and Kent is using this — our respect —as blackmail against us to bypass serious criticism. And then all the huge grifting fruitcake accounts who also lack a conscience take advantage of this as well.
It’s absolutely rotten. So we must speak out against it. I applaud James for his message today. 🫡

This isn't new information at all. It was always public straight from Charlie. Then Trump executed Operation Midnight Hammer, and a nervous Charlie Kirk said he supported President Trump 100%, though he didn't want a "regime-change war." He later said the operation was a success. Charlie Kirk backed President Trump 100%, even though he voiced his concerns before Trump made his decisions, both in public and in private. He supported Trump when he made these decisions and stood strongly with him, for him, and with and for the United States of America, even when he was nervous about it. Charlie's words in June of 2025 cannot be construed in any way to be applicable to the circumstances that led Trump to make these decisions in early 2026. It isn't hard to guess how Charlie would have felt about this situation, though, since he already demonstrated it for us in June last year. 1) He would be publicly and privately nervous about getting into such a war and would strongly caution against regime-change as a goal and boots on the ground as a strategy; 2) He would have voiced these concerns both on camera and in private and maintained a pro-Trump and pro-America, while "America First," messaging about the looming conflict; 3) Once things started in late February/early March, he would have backed President Trump 100% like he did on 100% of the other things he backed President Trump on 100%, 100% of the time; 4) He would have stood by the operation and President Trump's decision-making, even while voicing his anxieties, concerns, and beliefs about wanting the war/conflict to wrap up quickly and avoid boots on the ground and a deliberate strategy of regime change; 5) He would have reassured Americans that President Trump has the best intelligence, the best instincts, and the best capabilities to redefine conflict in the 21st century and to guide us through this war, consistently. "I've always said we can't rely on Mitch's memory" and (along the lines) "I'm now trying to debunk Mitch and provide an alibi for the people he's accused, so we can move on."
That's not how it works and that's not the impression her fans were under, and everyone knows it.
Why, also, when I say the same thing about Mitch's reliability and credibility, do I get called a "pedophile fed who got the call from TPUSA."
