@BRamseyKSR Looked like a not mild sprain. He could come back at some point depending on how severe, but it won't feel right for a bit. Hate to see that for a great player.

You obviously NEVER want to see an injury, and that remains true right now, but Joshua Jefferson is an All-American caliber player. One of the best two way guys in the country.
If this injury ends up impacting his ability to play Sunday it certainly will change the Vegas line.

Iowa State's Joshua Jefferson had to be helped off the court with an apparent leg injury. Jefferson leads the Cyclones in RPG and is second on the team in both PPG and APG.

@KSRBEvans Not really. While RTP 10-12 months out from surgery was definitely a < 100% certainty, with the resources and time he had/has it was a reasonable calculated risk. It just didn't pan out in this case.

This is why the "but we have 2 starters out!" thing never rang true with me. JQ was never a starter. He had ACL/meniscus/kneecap sutgery on March 21. To *expect* him to start, or even contribute in a significant way, was wishcasting.

Kentucky is targeting Keegan Brown to join the staff in a front office role, source told @On3. A deal is expected to come together in the near future.
Brown was on Mark Pope’s staff at BYU. He’s most recently been the Head Video Coordinator for the Wisconsin Herd, the G League affiliate of the Milwaukee Bucks.
