Chinese FM Wang Yi called Pakistan's FM to urge more effort to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and promised Chinese backing.
The call came as Trump prepares to land in Beijing and push Xi directly on Iran.
Why it matters: this is China playing both sides carefully. It backs Pakistan's mediation, keeping distance from direct pressure on Iran, while signalling to Washington it wants the crisis resolved.
If Pakistan succeeds, China takes partial credit. If talks fail, Beijing stays clean.

🇺🇸🇨🇳 Trump just confirmed that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is traveling with him to China aboard Air Force One. He also blasted CNBC as “FAKE NEWS” for reporting that Huang wasn’t invited to the trip. The funniest part is that Trump basically said Jensen is already on the plane and “unless I ask him to leave,” the report is false.

India invests heavily in Kashmir’s growth and development — even more than the value of Pakistan’s IMF packages. There is no dispute from India’s perspective.

Today, the ceasefire's technically holding, while diplomatic ties are frozen. Both sides have tested ballistic missiles since May 2025.
No talks, no trust, airspace still partially closed. The rhetoric is still hostile.
Trump called it a win. Both Modi and Pakistan's PM called it a victory. That's what a draw looks like when neither side can admit the truth.
Kashmir is still unresolved. It's been unresolved since 1947. The fuse is still there... it's just not lit yet.
Is anyone actually watching this, or did the world forget we almost lost 2 cities to nuclear states last year?

If this reporting is accurate, it would require a complete reevaluation of the role Pakistan is playing as mediator between Iran, the United States and other parties.
Given some of the prior statements by Pakistani defense officials towards Israel, I would not be shocked if this were true.

CBS claimed some of Iran's military fleet was stationed at Pakistan's Nur Khan Airbase, saying it was to shield them from U.S airstrikes.
Pakistan's government said only non-military aircraft arrived for the peace talks, and some of them remained there because elements of Iran's delegation stayed on, expecting further talks.
The planes "bear no linkage whatsoever to any military contingency or preservation arrangement."

About 44% of Spirit Airlines employees were minorities (POC). Spirit Airlines had a big focus on hiring minorities and create path for growth. Recently, most of the companies new managers were POCs. Knowing Trump’s stance on diversity’s hires, a bailout was never part of the equation for Spirit. He would rather let it die, let 1000s go unemployed rather than injecting funds into the company.

Spirit Airlines made sure that working class Americans could still afford air travel. But progressives like Elizabeth Warren insisted it was their duty to "protect" you from that evil JetBlue merger. Well, now, you’ve been protected from flying.
It's kind of like how Marxists and the WEF want to protect you from ownership and personal freedom, including by reaching net zero emissions for aviation by 2050. That means less flying for people like you while the elites continue flying, for your benefit, of course. But I'm sure that's just a coincidence.
