I have to look through a lot of videos of real species for anatomy/animation reference, and now so many of them are fake AI crap that doesn’t even resemble the real thing. Meanwhile, people in the comments are like: “Wow, amazing!” 👋🙂🫳 ☝️🙂🔫 ☝️💥🔫

I’m implementing a new gameplay feature where you can swim very close to certain stinging creatures to escape predators. It’s bittersweet, because you have to be careful not to get too close or you’ll take contact damage. Here’s a test with a Rangaranga and a bunch of Wakakakao:

Activating spectator mode is a real productivity killer. It’s very relaxing, but I really need to finish working on this update, and it’s just too absorbing, especially with jellies.

@Whotfissantiac Haha, sorry! The Mutamara is not in zen mode! Zen mode levels take place in closed caves to make players feel more safe and comfortable.
