G. K. Chesterton on why you should read books: “A man who has read a thousand books is armed for life; a man who has read none is easy prey. The man who has read a thousand books has lived a thousand lives. He has seen cities he has never visited, spoken to men who died centuries ago, and walked in worlds that no longer exist. Reading does not merely inform him; it enlarges him. It stretches the boundaries of his own experience until he becomes something more than himself.”

@JThiel I feel bad for them because most women choose that life because their dad wasn’t around to make them feel safe enough to be in their feminine

I have zero sympathy for women who choose to live like a man and then feel the pain of how hard it is. Deal with it. You should’ve chose to live like a feminine woman, be taken care of by a man, feel the magic of motherhood, and enjoy the creature comforts of domestic life.

There’s been a lot of allegations against Delve. But we haven’t been able to share our side of the story until today due to ongoing cybersecurity and forensics investigations. Maintaining customer trust is central to everything we do. That said, we grew too fast and fell short of our own standard. To our customers, we deeply apologize for the inconveniences caused. We take these allegations seriously and have made changes: a new auditor network, free re-audits and pentests for all customers, enhanced transparency in audit communications, and more. However, we also want to set the record straight on the anonymous attacks. The evidence we have points to a targeted cyberattack from a malicious actor, not a “whistleblower.” We believe the attacker purchased Delve under false pretenses, exfiltrated internal company data, and used it to launch a coordinated smear campaign. The posts rely on a mix of fabricated claims, cherry-picked screenshots, and stolen data taken out of context. See the link in the comments for more details. Delve was built to modernize compliance. We are not going anywhere and are committed to building what's next.

There was a farmer who grew excellent quality corn. Every year he won the prize for the best corn grown. One year, a reporter interviewed him and discovered something interesting about the way he grew corn. The reporter discovered that the farmer shares his seeds with his neighbors. "Why does he share his best seeds with his neighbors if every year they compete with his own?" the reporter asked him. "Why, sir?" the farmer replied, "didn't you know? The wind picks up the pollen from the ripe corn and swirls it from one field to another. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will constantly degrade the quality of my corn. If I want to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn." The same is true of our lives. Those who want to live good and meaningful lives must help enrich the lives of others, because the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches, and those who choose to be happy must help others find happiness, because the well-being of each is linked to the well-being of all.

@Gentleman_Ways I agree partial here. I dont understand why suits are formal they just seem stupid. Uncomfortable to wear expensive to get and horrendous to clean. There must be something new that is superior to this. Romans had Togas but something more futuristic. Not sure what it is
