This was the one big problem/downside with thrusting him into this in the first place. It was obvious that he wasn't going to dominate and meet the crazy high expectations some people had for him. He didn't even help on the PP as some hoped. Playoffs is doing what it takes to win

Everybody pushing for James Hagens to play in this Game 5 really dont get it. He was not ready. And the Bruins know it. He got valuable experience that'll help him prepare for next season in Boston, but throwing him in an elimination game ain't it after he showed little in series

@sulik18726 @adampellerin Hagens has 2 years to prove he’s elite and get an elite level contract, so no they didn’t waste a whole year. If he takes 3 years to peak then they made the right decision starting him early

Expecting further clarification later tonight, but it’s my understanding Thomas Harley is cleared to play for Canada — with no restrictions on Cale Makar’s health. (Jon Cooper hinted this today. Makar is a game-time decision, but said today he will do what it takes to play.) Obviously, when the World Cup returns in 2028…there will be more certain language about injury replacements.
