America is where it is because it recognizes the importance of human liberty, more or less. Yes it is not perfect but at least we are acknowledging human freedom and striving to achieve that. These past few years have given everyone an incredible opportunity to see what lies beneath the mask. From their standpoint, I suppose it’s a logical move.
