Remote work is not a distraction. It's a chance to concentrate. Government workers were 28% more productive on days when supervisors assigned them tasks to do at home, because they were more focused. The office is good for interaction, but it's not always ideal for deep work.

Leadership and mentorship are not a zero sum game. When we work together and share resources and ideas, we can all get better and that benefits everyone. And the people who it benefits most are those who are most important in this equation - the people who we lead and mentor.

There is no such thing as a perfect leader. In fact, if someone claims to be a perfect leader, they are probably not even a good leader, as they lack the self-awareness needed to seek out feedback and continue to grow and improve.

Generosity isn’t just a sign of virtue. It’s also a mark of intelligence. Data: people with high IQs have more unselfish values, give more to charity, and negotiate better deals for others. They prioritize the long-term collective good over short-term self-interest. It's smarter to be a giver than a taker. nytimes.com/2020/03/27/sma…

Please remind people of Trump’s behavior with certain Democratic governors during the height of Covid. Specifically ask @GovWhitmer, who had to beg for supplies because Trump is incapable of serving anyone but himself.

It is nice to know that when disaster strikes, our President does not choose whether or not to help those affected based on their political party or if they have said nice things about him

I have directed my team to provide every available federal resource as fast as possible to communities hit by Hurricane Helene. I quickly approved every Emergency Declaration request I received. FEMA and the Small Business Administration are here to help residents whose homes or businesses were destroyed or damaged. And our federal search and rescue teams have been working side-by-side with state and local partners in treacherous conditions to find those who are missing. They will not rest until everybody is accounted for.

Earlier this evening, FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell and Homeland Security Advisor Liz Sherwood-Randall briefed President Biden on the ongoing impacts of Hurricane Helene in multiple states, including Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, and Virginia. The FEMA Administrator updated the President on Federal actions to support emergency response and recovery and briefed the President on her visit today to Georgia where she surveyed damage and assessed emerging needs on the ground. Administrator Criswell will travel to North Carolina tomorrow. The President directed Administrator Criswell to determine what more can be done to accelerate support to those who are having the most difficult time accessing assistance in isolated communities. The President also advised the FEMA Administrator that as soon as it will not disrupt emergency response operations, he intends to travel this week to impacted communities.
