I remember way back in the “woke” military…
I had been off active duty a couple years…reported to Fort Benning (or Moore, whatever) for mobilization in 2005. Overdue for seven vaccinations.
Never crossed my mind to cry to my congressman. I rolled up my sleeve. Well, both sleeves tbh. Went right back to work and didn’t miss a beat. Okay my shoulders were sore, but pushups fixed it.
I realize anecdotal evidence isn’t worth much, but that works both ways, my friend. The statistical evidence is indisputable. Vaccines lessen the impact of disease on military formations.
Your great-great grandfather probably didn’t die of disease outside of Vicksburg in 1863, but mine did. Bet my great-great grandmother back in Illinois wished there had been a vaccine to save his life.

Pictures published by USA Today show meals served recently to Sailors onboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72), as well as Marines serving on the USS Tripoli (LHA-7), an America-class amphibious assault ship, both of which are currently deployed to the Arabian Sea in order to enforce the ongoing naval blockade against coastal areas of Iran.

🚨Heavy Handed removal of retiree benefits: A retired LCDR was just banned from all Navy bases and facilities in the Hampton Roads area for accidentally having a personal weapon in his vehicle at the base gate checkpoint. The retired naval officer has a Concealed Carry Permit. He also followed all directions provided to him by base security while voluntarily discussing his CC permit and noting that he had mistakenly had the weapon in his vehicle. Security suggested he turn around and come back without the weapon. He did so gladly and immediately returned back through the same gate (without the weapon of course) while the same security guards offered apologies for the inconvenience. The subsequent ban was an unexpected shock and a grave heavy-handed response to an honest mistake. The JAGs and Commander at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek have unilaterally removed all retiree benefits (except retiree pay) from an honorable man. He can no longer attend base functions, work a job on the base, use MWR facilities, or the commissary (military grocery store). Based on Secretary @PeteHegseth’s desire to ensure Second Amendment rights are defended by our Institutions, and that those exercising these rights are not unlawfully weaponized against, I pray this ban is quickly reversed.

The survival skills our Airmen displayed to evade enemy capture, the teamwork between our special operations forces and recovery crew to lay down key strikes and extract deep behind enemy lines speaks to the strength of our warfighters. We displayed air supremacy, showing the overwhelming capability of the U.S. military. The enemy doesn’t stand a chance. I couldn’t be more proud of our Air Force, Joint Force and all those involved.

Less than a year ago, the Air Force unveiled a new PT test with a two mile run. Airmen took to social media to complain how the new increased length would cause injuries.
This weekend, an Air Force Colonel, more than likely in their mid to late 40s, ran 5 miles up a mountain to escape the enemy.
