A Gurdwara is supposed to be the safest place for anyone in the world - regardless of religion, language, nationality or appearance. If celebrities, influencers or powerful people are allowed to click pictures and roam freely, but ordinary families or tourists are insulted, threatened or humiliated publicly in the name of “beadbi,” then something is going terribly wrong. Faith should inspire respect, not fear. No innocent man, woman or child should leave a holy place carrying trauma, embarrassment or hatred in their heart. A few radicals do not represent Sikhi. Please don’t let anger and mob behaviour damage the image of a religion built on sacrifice, equality and humanity. We must condemn such acts openly instead of defending them just because “our side” did it.
