Ireland's climate targets will be completely out of reach unless data centre expansion is halted. There is no point having a policy to reduce GHGs from power generation that is completely undermined by a policy to expand data centres. thejournal.ie/data-centre-gr…

The chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee should be aware that local authorities aren't audited by the C&AG and are therefore not answerable to PAC. Local councillors are best placed to do line-by-line analysis of local authority spend in this way.
