This is exactly the sort of thing I have been talking about in my tweets today. There was a lot of budget talk about the farmers, the rural economy, the annadata. And then these are the cold facts. The allocation for agriculture and allied sectors has gone DOWN as a percentage of GDP. This is why you cannot go by the budget speech alone. @livemint article
