From advance release calendars for informing data releases since the last three years, speeding up the pace of data-gatherings and publications and improving the outreach to stakeholders, @GoIStats is now focused on facilitating output numbers for India’s 800-odd districts with the support of the State Governments, to make economic data more granular and also to prepare the country’s statistical infrastructure for new technologies like AI/ML. All these efforts will facilitate the evidence-based policy decisions by the Government to reach the target of Viksit Bharat 2047.
