@theoldworldshow This is why I always liked the Southern Rebs! 😁 From an Yankee (Northern) point of view, the American Southerners were the best example of an Honorable Enemy.

Lincoln: “Why is that you were able to take the City of Mexico in three months with five thousand men, and we have been unable to take Richmond with one hundred thousand men?” Winfield Scott: “I will tell you. The men who took us into the City of Mexico are the same men who are keeping us out of Richmond.” Southern military culture at its finest. Virginia military culture at it’s finest

@pc2005 @sweatystartup My wife is SHM. Rover in the driveway, home on an island town and basically retired at 44 other than soccer carpool. Yes, I have been blessed with a good career, but I worked my ass off to get where I am. And a college degree wasn't what made it happen, & I am in technology

At a kindergarten graduation in Athens GA. 75% of the girls had the same answer for their career choice. The woke mind can’t comprehend the beauty of southern culture.

@pc2005 @sweatystartup You know you can hire a manager, right? It's people with no imagination, drive or balls that fail in life... then blame capitalism.

@StatisticUrban @rowanfornow 82 percent of the state's population lives in and around salt lake city. No chance that southern district has enough ppl to form a district

If you just took a computer algorithm and made the country's maps compact, ignoring all else, you arguably end up in a healthier democracy than we have right now.

@MarkKiley74 @sweatystartup So many questions. How will she afford it? How will she know how to run a business? Most salons are open from 8/9 am to 6/7 pm even on weekends. Doesn't leave much time to meet someone if your working there full time especially since I assume she will want to go to the gym ...

@bar_break @Jason_Wagner_RE @sweatystartup No , there's professionals for that and AI can do it ...they should be focused on home economics alone as the good Lord intended ... In the 1950's when America was great , that was the only thing they were taught ...so why waste tax payer dollars on anything else

Gen Z "burnout" after working a 40-hour week is hilarious. your grandparents worked in coal mines for 14 hours a day and came home to garden. Grow up.

@BillWiIdin Coal miners in 1950 worked a 40 hr work week thanks to labor reforms passed during the new deal/ww2 era. Most mines of that time period were unionized under the united mine workers. Gross pay would have been 82 per week, a good wage for the time.

@jarosebm @BillWiIdin My grandfather was greatest gen, faught in ww2. He was a union factory worker and if he ever worked over 40 hrs it was because they were paying time and a half. He also made enough as a sole provider that he owned 2 cars (1 new, 1 old) and 2 homes (1 more of a hunting cabin).
