@SbondyNBA @DKG247 If I were a betting man, Uncle Wes would take Josh's side versus SAS 10 times out of 10. But that's just me.

@DKG247 I wouldn’t be so sure about that. He certainly knows William Wesley.

Can't wait for Jose to come on @Roommates__Show.

Josh Hart was also Jose's vet at the time and paid for all the tickets for his family to pay it forward for what Luol Deng did for him as a rookie Via: reddit.com/r/nba/comments…

Hi from @clay HQ, where I recently joined to focus on supporting the startup ecosystem.
Totally thrilled to be here to help startups with their GTM! If you use Clay, tell me all about it and if you don't, let's talk.

@Rick_Zullo We have some teammates with specific sector specialties (F&B versus apparel) focus on their respective spaces but we overlap all the time to make sure we sharpen our strengths. We love the village effect!

Operating models in VC amidst unprecedented turnover
GP turnover when you have 3-5 GPs and the model is “1 GP per deal” is obviously hard on the firm, but even harder on the companies
We are seeing unprecedented turnover (whether leaving or retiring) across a lot of the most prestigious firms in VC, and the truth is that there are many more GPs sitting in firms like those that have never made successful investments, but leadership is forced to cling to for the sake of continuity
My belief is that the venture operating model is changing. Our approach is “3 hats” (putting 3 people on every company) to ensure that we can each bring our individual strengths to a deal and win it as a team. This is a single approach, but the “win as a team” (rather than eat what you kill) is what I see in the existing firms that are succeeding the most amidst this transition.
This is always how PE/HFs have worked, but VC was always different. We’re now seeing iconic brands become shells of their former selves and there simply needs to be a better way.
Would love to hear thoughts (either privately or publicly) for models/example that folks see as promising, if nothing else to show that there are other ways to approach this game than the way it’s been done for the last 30 years.

I’m excited to announce my next adventure.
I’ve joined @Meta as a Client Solutions Manager. I’m eager to jump in with Hilary Mostofi and Kayluis Peña to take some awesome clients to the next level!
There are so many people who have supported me along the way and I’d like to acknowledge them here:
A special shout out to Craig Brennan my executive coach, who has helped me with every step of my career journey.
Craig’s coaching has fundamentally changed my career trajectory. His experience as a CEO of multiple Public & PE + VC-backed companies along with mentoring rising leaders & executives is unique - many of those who worked with him are now in executive roles at public and private companies.
Craig helped me:
-Navigate difficult career challenges & decisions
-Build my personal brand & executive presence
-Assess & prepare for internal & external career opportunities
-Prepare and get promoted
He is wise, down to earth & loves to coach/mentor. If you’re interested in accelerating your career, feel free to reach out to Craig (I’m sharing his information below).
@EcommScott has been a huge help in helping me understand what to look for in my next role and think 2-3 roles ahead in my career.
@DataDavidATX has been an advocate and an inspiration for giving me an excellent example of “what I’d like to be when I grow up”. Thank you so much for your mentorship and helping me advocate for myself.
@eliweisss thank you for showing me what winning looks like and modeling great leadership.
Ali Samadpour & @J_Sterl thanks for recruiting me and saying “don’t walk, RUN towards this opportunity”
@JaiDolwani and @_dhruv_1 thank you for being my Day 1 hype men. I am so lucky to count you among my closest friends.
@brettperl thank you for inspiring me to shoot for the stars, one angel check at a time.
@MorganBarrettX thank you for always being a phone call away if I need to brainstorm something or think about startups.
And to everyone else who offered up their time & expertise as I navigated this process, thank you!!! 👇
