Would love to connect with HoD/DoS to discuss how you created a successful, aligned sport model which caters for all. We have unusual constraints & need to rethink the model. Would massively appreciate the opportunity to hear how others structure theirs, 🙏

@Planet_PE But the school heavily rely on income from paid coaches but some parents and many staff are angry & frustrated by the cost-understandably. It’s just a messy model I’ve stepped into but have autonomy for change. Change will need to have creative thought

@Planet_PE I’ve only just started at this school-next years timetabling and recruitment will be key. Getting more staff involved also will be a ficus. Sports don’t seem to fall in seasons here so strategising how to run various sports within a good model. Need to have more sport for all

@Planet_PE The usual after-school model is really tricky due to zero facilities. Before school training tricky for parents (kids can’t get to school independently). kids do 7.15-3.45pm already so it’s a long day.

@Planet_PE Only 2.5 PE teachers for whole school (EYFS-Ks4), outsourced coaches for ‘sport’, parents charged £ ⬆️ for sport, teacher parents can’t afford it, sports facilities lost to external paid option’s every night afterschool, the school highly depends on income from £ sport

@mcardle1978 @MrFallickPE @Planet_PE @tombrush1982 This is what we are trying to figure out.....! So far they have actually been fine this year all mixed together much to our surprise. Obviously lots of modifications to cater for all needs in game situations but has worked well. Need model for when fixtures start though.

Post covid we are looking to ficus in school on participation. After 14 years of doing fixture after fixture a ficus on numbers going forward. Do any schools just run internal leagues, clubs? @MrFallickPE @Planet_PE @tombrush1982 gcse to still have fixtures for moderation

@SashaKelly_91 Oh my goodness, am in totally the same boat! Had it since last July and it is driving me crazy. Some days I am literally hobbling in so much pain. Would be so grateful if you could share any top tips you get due this 😊

Has anyone got any advice on treating plantar fasciitis? I have had it for nearly 7 months now and I am at my ends wits with the pain!😣 I have tried insoles, socks, a boot, a range of trainers, stretching, exercise, rolling on a ball... None seem to work! #PEople #peteacher

Really appreciate the feedback everyone. Each school is unique with its own mission statement, vision & curriculum intent. I would love to have included more but we have lack of facilities/equipment. If you would like a copy of the template, I'm willing to share via email.
