To them, the very roots of this series are garbage, the game needs to hold your hand, and Ada/Leon soap opera shit must be in every game.

@sean_gause If they don't game then yes, they aren't a gamer. My question is, does it really matter? If someone can get enjoyment out of watching someone play a game, that shouldn't make them any less of a fan than anyone else. You can be a fan of football and not play football.

One of the most frustrating parts of the human experience is people's lack of curiosity. Refusing to engage with older art, going straight to modern remakes without any thought of even trying the original work, saying you don’t have to play an interactive game to be a fan etc.

I forgot to mention this in my Ozwell Spencer breakdown a few days ago, but I think many forget we knew he was lying to Wesker in his RE5 speech, he calls him the final Weaker child, to hide Alex from Albert, which plays into him deterring Wesker to lead him to his downfall.
