But here's the thing. Abdul Carter under-performed his #1 Draft pick expectations. He was advertised as possibly the next Lawrence Taylor. But Carter had just 4 sacks for the entire year. For Lawrence Taylor, getting 4 sacks in a single game was not unusual. Abdul Carter was often late to team meetings, sometimes missed team meetings in favor of napping. Abdul Carter is a troublemaker. The Giants should trade Carter for whoever they can get. I say this as a lifelong NY Giants fan. Abdul Carter is so arrogant and so entitled that he requested to wear Lawrence Taylor's #56 -- even through Carter was just an untested rookie who had not yet proven anything. The Giants told Carter "No," Lawrence Taylor's number is retired forever -- Taylor being the best defensive player in the history of the NFL. Taylor has been a vocal and outspoken supporter of President Trump. But Carter has not objected to Lawrence Taylor. He asked to be able to wear Taylor's #56 because he idolizes Taylor. So then what is Abdul Carter's problem with Jaxson Dart? And why is Abdul Carter causing trouble for the team he's on? Abdul Carter needs to go.
