Hi @offtheball / @gergilroy / @MolloyJoe / @nathanmurf / @EoinSheahan Are you going to cover the story of two males fighting against women in the Olympic boxing? On Thurs 1st @ 10:48 Imane Khelif an Algerian will fight the Italian Angela Carini in the 66kg weight class.

Hypothetically speaking (and to be clear I have no idea what has happened here) what would happen to a country if particular types of people on juries simply refused to convict people like them? Would that country then be on the road to becoming ungovernable?

@faintlyfalling @Roisin_Garden Posting an inappropriate comment on rip with a full name, address and phone number would be a great way to defame someone you didn't like.

@Roisin_Garden I forget his full name. Ewan someone. Biggish Irish account. Now, in fairness, the comment in the screenshot was looking to get in touch again with one of the family and is a bit "off". But still, the SS had other people in it and it's rip for god's sake, can we have nothing?

A thought on the Campbells. Anyone with a child of an age to be affected by the gender cult will know how difficult it is to resist. My daughter was furious with me for my resolute pushback. She screamed in rage and anguish when I contradicted the mantras she was receiving from school and Tic Tok. She had no friends who were not captured, and nor did I among the mums. It was extremely difficult to hold the line, and she hated me with every fibre of her being for quite some time. All I had were two lifelines: first, my own conviction that I was protecting her and the truth about biological sex was a red line I would never cross. It was the only thing I broke my anonymity for - going into the school to make sure the Head understood the law and that there would be consequences if I saw gender ideology appearing in the curriculum or affecting sports and facilities. Parents in this position will know how lonely and frightening a stance this was four or five years ago. Second - the example of parents on here who never softened their position though they would have been under pressure from all sides. The public spotlight on Graham Linehan makes his steadfastness in this regard particularly exemplary. Being viscerally hated by your child is no joke. It strikes at your core as a parent. I now think the ability to withstand that when the chips are down is what actually makes you a parent. Watching Grace Campbell clutch that cushion and contort while parroting that aggressive man's insults should horrify anyone that truly loves her.

@Clearpreso @brianmlucey An amazing place. The Wasatch mountains ringing it are beautiful. Very active city. People running & cycling everywhere, bike racks on the front of buses, a tram. All very surprising to me on arrival. Hiking in the summer, snow stuff in winter. Utah's national parks close by.👍👍

@stellaomalley3 @lwhb__ That album 'Come on feel the Illinoise' is exquisite. He set out to record a concept album themed after each US state but realized after 2 that he didn't want to spend his whole life doing it. Luckily we got Illinoise before he stopped. Amazing album.

@Clearpreso Will try it sometime. I'm a fan of these other 2 from Tesco. They usually have a 3 for 2 clubcard deal costing €8.

This coffee from Tesco is, to my tastes anyway, very good! €2.90 for the pack, which is now my total coffee cost for the week 😂😂😂

@DuncanHenry78 I like cooking so watching recipe videos & compiling a list of stuff to try is fun. I agree that working out & eating loads of protein / good food certainly doesn't feel like being deprived / dieting. I definitely don't crave sweet things / takeaways as much now either.

I’m doing the opposite. Sort of. I mean I’m not planning in advance I’m making sure I have a range of ingredients I could use and making sure I use them up - but meal planning doesn’t align with “listen to my body”. I have a range of possibles and choose that which aligns. But having “stock” to avoid lazy takeaway is important - though by now I basically don’t want takeaway.

April trend check in. Starting weight 110.7kg. Current weight 105.6kg. 80% of loss is body fat. Effort spent “dieting” = zero Effort spent completely reorganising my mental relationship with food = lots. I love this whole automated food and exercise internal regulation though. I didn’t know I could do that. Turns out my body does it itself I just have to tune into it. One example was - I had toffee popcorn last week. I felt… it is difficult to describe. Agitated? So i - ran around for a bit like a cat with the zoomies then did a walk. The feedback mechanisms are there I’ve just never learnt how to interpret them until now with masses of help from books and ChatGPT. Good news is it’s becoming subconscious so all the thinking and interpreting body signals is becoming ingrained, so my “today I really fancy egg and ham salad with extra egg and ham” is telling me “you need protein” Also junk food has become utterly unappealing. Especially sugary stuff. I can’t explain exactly how this happened but now sweets “taste like headache”. I’ve rewired something. It’s not fast weight loss. It shouldn’t be. The goal is to not lose muscle I’ve spent time - and money (trainer) building. The aim is to lose fat without the faff of counting things or feeling hungry. And it is working. It just takes… a completely different way of thinking about (or not thinking about) food.

Lads, a photo from childhood, we all know it. Immortalised on the front of the Orbis sticker album for Italia 90. Such an iconic shot. Look at the determination on both their faces. Fuck sake, die to get that ball.

@iseult It's just cope. They know it's nonsense and all the evidence pointed to a DSD. What's one more "You're a transphobe"? It always worked before. It's almost nostalgia on their part.
