US President Donald Trump said Chinese President Xi Jinping had offered to help broker a deal with Iran and wanted to see the Strait of Hormuz reopened, in an interview aired on Fox News. Trump said China had also agreed to buy US oil, with shipments expected from Texas, Louisiana and Alaska. He added that the current Iranian negotiators were more reasonable than previous ones, but warned his patience was running out.

@ibrahim_zolfgri If it went according to plan, Venezuela would be another bankrupt country as everything he touched in his life.

@StarshipIsrael @TankerTrackers Even if some microorganisms can consume oil, spills still kill marine life because oil blocks sunlight and oxygen needed by plankton and fish. Toxic compounds also move through the food chain and damage entire ecosystems.
English

@TankerTrackers Oh I see, I was merely commenting on the word "toxic". lol
Yeah it's not toxic, I mean if you drank gasoline right now it would be toxic to you as well. but in terms of toxic it's not toxic to nature. Nothing is toxic to nature itself, maybe just biodiversity or life.
English

@StarshipIsrael @TankerTrackers Oil spills are toxic because they poison and physically damage marine life. Some bacteria can break down oil, but too slowly to prevent major ecosystem harm.
English

@TankerTrackers Sorry but oil, even processed oil is NOT TOXIC to the ocean. It's literally made of hydrocarbons which get consumed quickly by plankton and other microbes. Oil spills or blowout wells are never an issue as the ocean eats oil up quickly.

NEW: A Russian naval deployment has been reported off the German coast in the Baltic Sea, with the destroyer Severomorsk positioned between Fehmarn and Lübeck Bay, prompting a rapid NATO naval response in the area.
According to regional reports, the Russian warship has been anchored in a sensitive maritime corridor near northern Germany since the weekend. The vessel is described as part of a wider Russian naval presence in the Baltic, reportedly linked to the protection of so-called shadow fleet shipping routes and increased escort activity around Russia-linked maritime traffic.
In response, NATO has deployed elements of its Standing Naval Force 1 to the region, including the German frigate Sachsen and the French frigate Auvergne along with additional patrol and reconnaissance assets.
The development comes amid growing concern over escalation risks in the Baltic maritime environment. Just days earlier, Sweden’s Supreme Commander Michael Claesson warned that Russia’s expanding shadow fleet operations and increased escort activity are contributing directly to rising tensions in the region.
Claesson said the security situation in the Baltic Sea has clearly worsened compared to previous years, noting that increased Russian naval and escort deployments could be used not only for protection of shipping but also as strategic signalling. He stressed that such activity increases the risk of miscalculation, particularly as NATO and Russian naval forces operate in closer proximity.

@liea_ebony From Spain. I am so sorry for you. I feel so much anger, what US & Israel did to people of Iran, yet both keep threatening. In Europe, these two totally lost credibility. Now it's over. If we can help you by any means, financially or the other way, let me know by direct message.

Elon’s post appears to highlight a broader cultural erosion—where public behavior, discourse, and institutions often lack basic respect, honesty, and self-worth. Restoring dignity could mean prioritizing personal responsibility, civil exchange over outrage, and rejecting trends that normalize degradation or entitlement. It’s intentionally broad, inviting reflection on what’s been lost in modern society rather than prescribing one fix.
