I think a lot of people are actually sleeping on @grok. I made this mascot animation with legit 1 prompt and 2 assets.. The only thing that is so unclear is the usage you get with grok. @elonmusk any insights for us? Would love to test some more and teach people this!

i came to thailand for a holiday, and now i’ve been living here for 1.5 years i decided i would “incubate” myself here because everything’s so cheap here, i could work very little as a freelance designer, and spend time building apps i would earn $5-10K from designing, then i’d go all in on apps and try to make it work after 12 months of this, i finally cracked it by finding tiktok ads and running them profitably now i’ve been at >10k mrr for 6 months consistently, im growing my personal brand and unlocking new revenue streams like: - x payouts - consulting - building tools for other app devs all of these revenue streams unlocked because i put in the grind figuring out how to make apps profitable my X account would be hard to grow if i didn’t have free value/advice to offer i think building a personal brand is the best moat you can have, it’s something AI cannot replace so my advice would be: grind on something until you’re making good money, then teach others how to do it in exchange for personal brand growth :)

@bas_fijneman @grok @elonmusk You use supergrok or on the free tier? I tried to get an idle animation, something specific like make the ears move around and wave a little but it kept adding more animations like jumping around and added hands with fingers etc.

Added subscriptions tracker in Pigi, now I see I pay almost $800/y 😧 Was over $1000 but cancelled some already.

@diwhycoder @ynab Hey, you want to try a new ynab style app? Specifically focused on making a simpler UI and nicer user experience but still should be familiar coming from ynab. Would love some feedback if you're up for it.

Ewwww what did you guys, @ynab do to the split menu. There's so much wasted space and useless UI elements. UX is overly cluttered and complicated now. Maybe move all this BS to a toggle. Or have a compact vs comfortable view. This sucks, I don't want to have to do my finances like this.

@AboundWealth @DaveRamsey Hey, would you be interested in trying a new ynab style app on ios? It's a simpler version but with some additional functionality like subscriptions tracker and overall if you like ynab user experience you might like it and I'd love to hear some honest feedback 🙂

@DaveRamsey Budgeting is good. I don’t like EveryDollar. Tried it and it’s not great. I use YNAB and have since 2012. I always buy 10 year old cars for a couple thousand bucks. Point A to Point B, that’s all you need.

There's no such thing as a "great deal" on a car you can't afford. A monthly budget that you actively use can help you avoid making impulsive decisions like financing a car because it "feels" like a great choice in the moment. Planning what to do with your money (budgeting) forces you to make conscious decisions about what you value, what you need, and what you actually can afford. My team created an awesome budgeting app called @EveryDollar. It will help you make a plan that you actually want to stick to and find the margin you need to help you reach your goals.

I’m launching Pigi soon on iOS and looking for a few TestFlight users before it goes live. Pigi is a calmer budgeting app for planning the month, giving money a purpose, keeping subscriptions visible, and seeing what’s safe to spend without digging through a giant finance dashboard. If you’ve tried budgeting apps before but they felt too automated, too heavy, or too much like accounting software, I’d love your feedback. Reply or DM and I’ll send the TestFlight invite.
