I believe the most likely scenario is using self-replicating VonNeumann probes to colonise other star systems, and effectively 3D print biological lifeforms, including humans, upon arrival. Would take eons though

Went to a bank today . So many lost people looking for help . Digital leaves people behind . It was like a financial a and e department . Thank god for the staff who work there but they've got a lot on their plate . More staff needed . People need people x

@_night_brain__ HS2 hasn't been cancelled. Just the Birmingham to Manchester section. Birmingham to London is still under construction. Although it will now terminate on the outskirts of London. Thus removing any time savings HS2 might have given... 🙄

This country has been run by an unelected dictatorship of railway engineers who appear to have just kept building HS2 (?) unbeknownst (?) to the politicians who keep cancelling it

These are tough results for Labour. There’s no sugarcoating it. We’ve lost brilliant Labour representatives who’ve stood up for their communities. People are still frustrated. Their lives aren’t changing fast enough. We haven’t offered enough hope or optimism for the future. I was elected to change this country - tough days like this don’t weaken my determination to do that. They strengthen it.

@BarbaraNice Sorry I didn't make any of these shows. Had booked Birmingham last year, but a family bereavement scuppered that. This year, decided to leave it until The Lowry... Which just goes to show, strike whilst the iron is hot.

Me and my pal Chad have been all over the country with the show over the last 18 months or maybe longer . We have put the show on in loads of different sizes and shapes of venues - from small community owned reclaimed Victorian theatres - purpose built council ones - ones attached to libraries or schools - and what they all had in common was a dedication from staff and audiences that live performance matters . It is a unique and important sharing of space where we come together to laugh , think , cry , reflect . It's done in public and it's done in plain sight . It is true and real and precious . @realObonjo I was thinking that myself. They need to get all the violent "nutters" of the streets. When I say "nutters" I don't want to disparage anyone with mental health conditions. But a lot of the nutters I'm referring to don't have mental health issues.

Mental health is the problem in the UK not Islam it’s that simple and the Government has failed to deal with a rise in mental health.

On Saturday I went into a Ryman's to buy blotting paper. The young assistant knew exactly where it was - "in a very odd place" - (next to the pens) and as I paid politely asked what it was for. So I told her. I feel so delightfully old and wise..
