@Martyupnorth I voted for Sonya. Sonya was right. He is @nenshi 2.0. This speech proves that with immense clarity. He clearly states we have been funding Canada. He’s a 1 term mayor.

Calgary Mayor Jeromy Farkas came out with some pretty strong words against Alberta separation, and in favour of immigration. When I listen to his speech, I actually hear the opposite. He gives great reasons for independence.

@yonkojohn In the future you will only see a name on the ballot. After the election the person will reveal their political beliefs. Lots of scenarios are possible.

MP's are not appointed they are the "will of the people" elected in a particular riding however if allowing MP's the privilege to change parties on their own is "the will of the people" so be it!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Conservative Leadership however there is a party that believes if you say something and repeat it often enough people will believe you!

@boehmerB I am old enough to remember a mostly judicial process but I haven't seen one for a long time. Every level of government is corrupt. The race politics and the gender politics has become a tool to extort the taxpayers.

Not good. The judiciary is blocking the democratic process. This increases the political temperature rather than bringing it down.

Want to give more power to the separation agenda? Give First Nations a veto on blocking Albertan’s democratic right to a referendum. I don’t think they realize what TF they’re starting here.

@CoryBMorgan The process was well thought out to avoid this type of problem. This is the same type of extortion that was used to approve the pipeline. After this the "hereditary chiefs "will need to get their dividends.

Blocking a democratic exercise for 100% of the citizens on behalf of chiefs who represent fewer than 5% of the citizens will end very poorly if it happens.

Oh to be a fly on the wall of a Conservative Party caucus meeting today. Between the floorcrossers and the separatists, where do they even go from here? 72 Western MPs verses 68 Eastern MPs. What percentage of Conservative voters in the 4 Western provinces do you suppose are in favour of independence from Canada? In 1987, the Reform Party emerged and it quieted the Western separatist voice. 39 years later, we are back to where we started. Does anyone care to share the lesson learned in the story here?
