Both researchers and regulators need a change of mindset.

CIAO was one of the triggers for this paper. Our project demonstrated that AOPs can be used to describe biological processes not only triggered by chemicals, but also by viruses. 👏 @pennynymark @annaberonius @mjamorim1 and many others! altex.org/index.php/alte…
