GM My X-Frens!!! Happy Air Ambulance Week!!!!!!!!
On a personal note, more decades ago than I care to admit, as a young EMT I worked a Grateful Dead concert at Manor Downs and the Medical Director for the event was none other than "From the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston,,,,, I'm Doctor Red Duke." Anyone who watched TV news in Texas in the 80's or 90's know that signature line from the Health Minute. Anyway, Dr. Red Duke is the founder of the absolute top of the line Life Flight at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston and was an incredible person. I was glad to have been able to work with him. And I did get to work with him on an OD that we found at the end of the concert.

Today we’re celebrating 85 years of flight for a warbird that served in every theater of WWII and is one of the most-produced American bombers in history — the B-25 Mitchell!
Even now, you can feel history rumble as these warbirds roar across our great nation, keeping the story alive for new generations to discover.

OK, question for the spotters in the crowd, has ANYONE seen a Lakota that wasn't solid Dark Olive Drab?

GM My X-Frens!! Sorry for the quality or lack there of. I caught this at lunch Friday when they stopped in and parked on the far SouthEast ramp. Didn't have my good camera so had to use the cellphone and had to shoot through the fence and a bit of distance to get this. This is the 1st Camo Lakota I've spotted.

Then (1977): N9643C was in rough shape—in Harlingen Texas.
Now: She’s Devil Dog —a fully restored B-25 Mitchell flying proud as a U.S. Marine PBJ.
She’s one of our most popular aircraft… can you guess why?

#OTD in 1968, Marine Lt. Col. Robert Guay and Sikorsky pilot Byron Graham performed a series of loops and rolls in a CH-53A to test the enormous Sea Stallion's maneuverability characteristics. The maneuvers were unprecedented for a helicopter of its size.
