I have turned all our Macbeth lessons into a booklet - I just like having them for off-site pupils, anyone out of lesson etc. Sharing in case you are a booklety sort of school! It is literally just our powerpoints copied and pasted into booklet form :) drive.google.com/drive/folders/…

Meryl Streep at the United Nations: A female cat has more freedoms than a woman in Afghanistan, "A cat may go sit on her front stoop and feel the sun on her face," Streep said. "She may chase a squirrel into the park. A squirrel has more rights than a girl in Afghanistan."

@percy_thinks It just seems tough! On a paragraph by paragraph basis. Very on the prose/poetry border.

I'm enjoying reading this to support a tutee but it probably wouldn't be my choice as an A-Level text.

Planning adaptive teaching includes anticipating what will go wrong and barriers to learning (expect failures). Some pupils just need more rungs on the ladder to help them learn (nice analogy for adaptive teaching). By @ModernCassie as #rEDBrum

@DanielBundred All our children hand in their phones in the morning. And if Kahoot is used it’s on their Surface Pro school devices. So yes it can work.

It should go without saying, but you can't have an effective whole school mobile phone policy and use Kahoot in lessons.

@CantabKitty Audible is unbelievably good - almost laughably so. Makes chores, drives, queueing etc enjoyable. Genuinely a bit addicted to it. I think it’s very good value for money but the free ones aren’t usually my first choices.
