@MightofDano @TheUnseenView @3_bm15 Russia is also THE largest nation in terms of size. AD systems, radars and launchers are not cheap to produce and they have a massive territory to protect from Ukrainian drones. If it continues like this, it will become a much bigger problem than it already is.

@TheUnseenView @3_bm15 But keep in mind that Russia is one of the largest nations in terms of air defense system production. While the results are good, they can still re-allocate a lot of defense systems from Luhansk and Donetsk to the Southern Front.

@9M728 @billivierr @KBP9a91 Remember, there’s a reason they only use UPMK glide bombs. Flying over Ukrainian controlled skies is suicide for Russian bombers. As I said before, don’t confuse inability with unwillingness.

@billivierr @KBP9a91 The Russians try to convince themselves. Everytime the US conducts a successful “Special Military Operation”, they brag that they haven’t done the same thing to Ukraine because of “goodwill”. Truth is, they are just unable to.

@billivierr @KBP9a91 We’re mocking them for being under the impression that Russia is a superpower somewhat comparable to the US. That wasn’t true during most of the Cold War, certainly isn’t even close now. Russian military reach outside of its own borders is now virtually nonexistent

@OskarMaria @Rebel44CZ Without counting mercenaries/MIA/wounded beyond recovery for military service. Put 2 and 2 together, and you have more than a million irreversible losses for Russia

@OskarMaria @Rebel44CZ A lot of them are from the big Manticore Russian database leak (which abruptly ends in february 2025). Mediazona said that half of those 23k dead are from before 2025. Considering how deadly 2025 has been for Russian army, they probably have somewhere between 300k-400k dead.

This article has a bunch of things that I hate 1. stupid clickbait headline - no serious analyst is claiming that Russia is suffering 50K irrecoverable casualties per month. And mixing up current irrecoverable loss numbers with the target number (50K) is just dumb

The latest investigation from Meduza's Razbor team suggests that changes in Russia's record-keeping have fueled some very inaccurate analysis in the West. Given the hope placed in Russia's supposedly accelerating battlefield deaths, these findings are big. meduza.io/en/feature/202…

@EffusiveDesigns @BlueJtee @_sn_n @theboys73730359 Not wrong though, most if not all of the tariffs announced in April against China and EU were withdrawn and new deals were struck. A great deal was made between EU and US that the orange crybaby risks to throw away because he didn’t get the Peace Prize.

@thunderking718 @LameBearJoke @NorthernUzza @MuhlQvist @NAFORaccoon The only nuclear capable NATO systems in Ukraine are SCALP and ATACMS. Respectively donated between mid-late 2023. Almost 2 years after the start of the invasion. PS do you really think that the Cuban missile crisis would have started if the USSR only sent tanks & artillery??

@perica2703 @LameBearJoke @NorthernUzza @MuhlQvist @NAFORaccoon its not about nukes, its about the weapon systems. Nato has weapon systems which can be used for traditional fire but can also be fitted with tactical nukes. This alone is a huge issue. if it can be used for nukes as well it might as well be a nuke and treated as such.

@thunderking718 @LameBearJoke @NorthernUzza @MuhlQvist @NAFORaccoon Not just any soviet weapons - soviet nuclear ballistic missiles. If there’s no proof of US nukes in Ukraine, the russian invasion, by your analogy, is completely unjustified. If anything, the US helped remove nuclear weapons from Ukraine. It was a mistake in hindsight.

@LameBearJoke @NorthernUzza @MuhlQvist @NAFORaccoon No but you have to be realistic. Remember the USA was going to murder citizen and frame Cuba to invade them to stop russian weapons being placed there. No major power would allow it, america pretends to forget operation Northwoods.

And again in 2005, when then Senator Barrack Obama secured federal funding to oversee the destruction of 400,000 small arms, 1000 MANPADS and 15,000 TONS of various types of ammunition. All under the guise of “peace and stability” in the region and the wider world.

From an interview with a Russian trauma surgeon in St. Petersburg: "'I unsubscribed from all the news because I couldn’t cope anymore. That made things much easier,' he says. But he can't escape from the military recruitment ads at bus stops that promise 200,000-ruble ($2,500) salaries for contract soldiers, more than triple what most doctors earn. 'The sign-up payment is 3 million rubles [$37,600]. With my salary, I’d need to work more than four years to earn that much. And military personnel get it simply for signing a contract,' he says bitterly... The atmosphere at work has become toxic. 'My colleagues don’t support me — everyone is quite ‘patriotically’ minded, constantly talking about NATO and how the whole world wants to destroy Russia.' To Artyom, this makes no sense. 'You’re a doctor, you should be for life, for any life. But for most people, apparently, only Russian lives matter, while Ukrainians can be killed because they’re ‘Nazis’.'” themoscowtimes.com/2025/10/14/whe…
