Ayub Khan was right to offer Bengalis a peaceful right of self-determination. East Pakistan, on the other side of the subcontinent, was never going to work as one unit with West Pakistan. Departing on peaceful terms would've saved hundreds of thousands of lives and prevented the humiliation that the army suffered after losing the civil war of 1971. Maybe we could've remained a weak Union too instead of a complete separation. It'd have also prevented Islamisation of Pakistan, which happened as a knee-jerk reaction to the ethno-nationalism of Bengalis, even though we had no such issues in West Pakistan. Turned whole country into a mental asylum. PS: Independent Bengal was also in line with the Lahore Resolution.

When it comes to assessing breast cancer risk, most datasets that inform existing models come from white women. Now, an emergent #AI-based predictor trained on people from diverse demographics can evaluate breast cancer risk accurately regardless of patients’ race or ethnicity. scim.ag/4eZ4T9I @ScienceAdvances

My beautiful English vocabulary is slowly being supplanted by words like andouillette, cuisses de grenouille, rognon

@llallawg You will find people like that everywhere. but that doesn't make everyone bad. most germans are genuinely good people. their issue is primarily with asylum seekers who rely on social security, in which they aren't wrong. but if you tell them you are working, they appreciate you.

@perspectivismm It's great that your life is better than it was, but do keep in mind that other people's experience might be different. You are too defensive and judgmental. It's giving 'I want to convince myself' to other people. Just telling you how your message came across.

as a student in germany, i would call this a sheer nonsense. i tell everyone to learn german and come to germany. this person should stop misguiding others simply because he could not make it here. your friend seems to be the type who seeks out ghettos, refuses to assimilate with

Very smart friend went to study in Germany in a STEM field, was so depressed by German culture that he actually loves living and working in Pakistan now 😂

@theOntarianGuy It seems you have nothing better to do than judge my options. but yes only a foolish person would refuse to broaden their skills and resist learning new cultures & languages. so yes go to english speaking countries. nobody is stopping or forcing you. your life, your choice.

@perspectivismm Looks like you didn't have other options and instead opted for a country you couldn't realistically master (or would take a lot of time). Why would a person choose Germany if better English speaking options are available, given one can afford it.

@thinkingt_h1 I don't know if you'd call my experience generalizable. but one thing is certain: growth does not happen in isolation. the people who return are mostly those who didn't learn the language or couldn'tsecure jobs. i don't recall anyone with a job coming back.

@perspectivismm Learning a whole language isnt easy task and Germany can be quite depressing and tough for students, a lot of ppl return back. Your individual experience can be good but you cant generalize it

Nobody offers free lunches and nobody is forcing you to go to germany or anywhere in europe. if you want to stay in your comfort zone and have a lot of money, go anywhere you like. my tweet is for those who are applying to germany and feel discouraged.

nobody offers free lunches. many people are unwilling to leave their comfort zones, and that idleness makes them weak. once you learn the language, you are prepared for the job market. ghetos sa nikal k germans sa milo faltu ka depression end hoga or logo ko ghalat guide na karo.

disbursed monthly. regarding the job market, every country presents challenges. the key factor is language proficiency, and public universities frequently provide free integration courses and language examinations for students enrolled in english taught programs.
