Why build a #bitcoin only neobank called @ckexchange ? Bitcoin was created against the TradFi bullshit. However, in the recent years, we are seeing a convergence with ETFs & #USDT and #USDC as backbone for DeFi. These are great but we need Bitcoin only DeFi too.

I guess there will be some sort of announcement soon about ckUSDC, but to answer your question about IDs: the ckERC20 Ledger and Index canisters are spun by a so-called Orchestrator, as mentioned in the proposal. To find out this information, you can call its method 'get_orchestrator_info'. Hey. Can we not create a massive clusterf*** by calling something other than the NNS based asset deployed by dfinity ckAnything? It is just going to confuse the hell out of users when they try to send it to the NNS and it gets "lost". Then we lose an IC user.

@VictorICPSquad Yup - funds sent to your BTC address increment your available ckBTC balance. Currently you also need to hit “refresh balance” after the 12 onchain confirmations - we are working on improving that flow.
