April 6th @WHO: there is currently no evidence that wearing a mask by healthy persons in the wider community setting, can prevent them from infection with respiratory viruses, including COVID-19. Leave masks for Medical professionals who really need them!

The "China lab cooked up COVID as a weapon" line is silly. As @WHO pointed out early, COVID is the 1st pandemic of a coronavirus that could be easily contained. Repeatedly, WHO said it wouldn't declare a pandemic because, if countries followed simple rules, spread would stop.../1

In 2003 I travelled to China and saw first hand how temperature screening at airports was used to effectively control the spread of SARS. Why did our government not put effective screening at our airports early in the pandemic?

@Keir_Starmer This is a global pandemic that needs a global co-ordinated response. Borders must have screening. City's must have screening. City and rural areas must be treated separately. Central imposed blanket policies, whilst effective, are not working properly.

@BBCNews What has happened to informative news coverage? It is clear that social distancing is easier outside of cities. Why not present the figures for urban areas divided by the population of the urban area. For countries, divide by the population of the country.
