@InvictaOrtho Looks like you got it off whole! What was your extraction technique? My personal favourite is to gently massage their butt (the tick’s) in a circular fashion, till the jaws fatigue and they just come away without leaving bits behind

My friend Heather Vallier, President of @otatrauma, watching Dr Patterson’s tribute prior to her speech. I have never met a more well-balanced, kind, and strong person in ortho. She mentored me of her own volition when I wasn’t her resident/fellow. The OTA is lucky to have her.🥰
