Peter Obi’s One Term I am in support of Peter Obi’s one-term commitment. And he means it. Political discourse in Nigeria could be very silly. Many people are attacking @PeterObi for saying he will do only one term. They think it is either untruthful or foolish. But they are wrong. First, you are only elected for a 4year single term. In a real democracy, there is no guarantee you would be reelected. So, you have just 4 years to deliver your electoral process. 4 yrs should be enough to deliver what you promised the nation. That is what they voted. Some say “oh you cannot change Nigeria in 4 yrs”. By the same breath, you cannot change Nigeria in 8 yrs. So you should remain beyond 8 yrs? Did OBJ change Nigeria in 8yrs? Did Buhari change Nigeria in 8yrs. Actually, Buhari further endangered Nigeria in 8 yrs. GEJ accomplished more in one term than Buhari in 8yrs. Again, some say “Peter is cheating Igbos who deserve 8yrs”. Well, in normal times, yes we need 8 yrs. But what did 8yrs buy for katsina and northwest? What exactly? Longevity is not the point. Intensity is. I am part of Igbo leadership. Our people want the presidency more for its psychological value. We are equal citizens. One terms achieves that. The rest is for Nigeria. Real development in the southeast rests on governors who can deliver transformation. That is why I will run for governor late in 2027. And if Obi’s plan to hand over to Kwankwanso works as sketched, Nigeria will be on tract to a sustained 8 or 16 yrs of economic growth and social stabilization. And we would achieve in a democracy what many Asian countries achieved in a dictatorship. Never forget that politics is the art of the possible, not the science of the possible. It is POssible.

If you’re looking for the perfect example of a true friend and loyal ally, Senator Victor Umeh is one. He’s someone who deserves appreciation too. It’s rare to see Peter Obi anywhere without Senator Victor Umeh standing firmly by his side. From the days of LP through ADC and now NDC, he has remained consistently loyal and supportive throughout the struggle.

Ayo | Farm Tribe by AY 🇳🇬 🇹🇷 🌾🍫🫚
One of my worker is going BLIND I got a call from my farm yesterday that genuinely disturbed me. One of my workers is gradually going blind. And the painful part? I’m only just finding out. The other workers later told me that when he first came to work on the farm, he was already partially blind… but over time, his condition got much worse. So no, this isn’t a case of “he became blind because of the farm.” Immediately I heard, I told them to bring him to Lagos so we could see a proper eye specialist. We ran several scans. Different tests. Consultations. Everything together cost me close to ₦200,000. After all the tests, the doctor pulled me aside privately and said something that completely changed my mood for the day: “The damage is irreversible.” The drugs and eye drops he prescribed are not to restore his sight… They are only to reduce the pain. That sentence hit me hard. Because this man has 6 children. Six‼️. And farming is the only thing he knows. The only thing feeding his family. But now he can barely work anymore. So now I’m stuck with a decision that has been bothering me since yesterday. Do I: 1. Pay him 3 months salary upfront and let him go so he can at least stabilize himself? 2. Keep him on a ₦20,000 monthly payroll for a year even though he can no longer work? 3. Or do what most companies would logically do,pay one month salary and let him go? This is the part nobody talks about when they say: “Just start a business.” Sometimes the hardest part of business is not making profit. It’s carrying human problems you never prepared for. Because at the end of the day, this is not just “a worker.” This is a father whose children are about to feel the consequences of something they know nothing about. And truthfully… I still don’t know what the right decision is. What would you do if you were in my position?

Kwankwaso is saying that Tinubu is relying on governors for reelection while the governors are relying on Tinubu for reelection. Meanwhile, in NDC, they're believing in the people of Nigeria. You see, I used to think Kwankwaso is just good in grassroot politics; I didn't know he's an impeccable media communicator.

Tosin Eniolorunda and his co-Founder are Nigerian trained. All of the day one guys at Moniepoint are Nigerians and most of them are still with the company and doing very well. Moniepoint employ, in total, almost 30,000 Nigerians. They are a top employer in NIGERIA 🇳🇬. They pay a minimum of 75% percentile of the market. Junior Developers earn N1M monthly. Most earn N3M and some earn N4M monthly. They have people who earn around N10M monthly! Moniepoint remains one of the highest transacting companies in AFRICA. They are a world-class company. And if Moniepoint did not exist, Nigeria would have gone to CHINA, completely. Tosin must have spoken from a place of deep passion and pain because human capital in Nigeria is low. I have tweeted about this several times as well. Yes, we have good talent, but when you look at the larger population of the country, we have so much work to do. This is a FACT! By the way, Moniepoint has paid some employees a million dollar in stock options (IN CASH). And there are at least 15-20 people who work with Moniepoint in Nigeria who are dollar millionaires! So, to say they underpay or they take advantage of cheap labour is redundant and lazy talk. Again, criticisms should be fair and balanced. But Business Leaders should never shy away from shedding light on challenges across the country. PS: MONIEPOINT HAS PRODUCED A GEN Z A BILLIONAIRE!! JULIAN DUMEBI DURU IS ALIVE AND WELL, AND HAS TOLD HIS STORY. He was a Product Manager, then a Software Architect, before the final promotion to Principal Engineer all at Moniepoint 👏🏽👏🏽.

I used stopncii.org so the girl’s video can hopefully be taken down from the internet completely. May Allah make it successful quickly. Wallahi, anyone enjoying the spread of this video should check their conscience. Yes, she committed a serious sin, but let’s tell ourselves the truth — her own mistake was exposed publicly while many people are hiding their own sins. So what exactly is the joy in helping to spread it further? Only Allah knows the condition this girl, her parents, and her family are in right now. The saddest part is seeing people on Facebook mocking the situation and even begging others to send the video privately — including fellow Muslims and women. The boy who leaked the video may have ruined her life forever, but what exactly did he gain from it? Many wicked and ignorant people use private pictures and videos to blackmail girls, and once the victim refuses their demands, they leak everything online. They forget they also have sisters, and one day they too will have daughters. Before disgracing any girl online, ask yourself: “How would I feel if this happened to my own sister?” “If it were me, would I survive the humiliation?” Anyone with a conscience would never take pleasure in destroying another human being like this. May Allah protect us from terrible destinies. May Allah give her strength to overcome this test. May Allah guide us all. May Allah forgive us all. -Abba sboy

The next couple of days will define the future of this nation. This deeper understanding is why I resigned from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to join the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) as I follow the leadership of, HE Peter Obi, who today embodies the hope and aspiration of a Nigeria that works.     When I give my word, I keep it. My decision to support HE Peter Obi first led me to the ADC. To continue to honour the promise I am joining the NDC.   This time I am joining the NDC not just as a member but as one running for the FCT Senatorial seat.   I have tidied up all my obligations to the ADC, ensuring a clean transition. I was fortunate to work with great and amazing people whose goal was a better country. I am grateful for the opportunity to have served as sub‑committee chair, deputy committee chair, and secretary at various levels.   The experience has been invaluable, and I thank everyone for their support and cooperation.     #NewBeginnings #NDC #PeterObi2027 #FCTSenate #BetterAbuja #NewNigeria #ServiceFirst   Yours In Service Aisha Yesufu
