Thank you to those who joined last week to celebrate 40 years of @ukbapam. BAPAM has become the largest performing arts medicine provider in the UK supporting the health of performers, actors and dancers, which it couldn’t do without the dedicated teams, funders and supporters.

Some strong messages of support from @RhonddaBryant on the govt's mission for growth with creative industries at its heart, as well as it's goals for helping UK artists tour Europe. We look forward to working together to support UK artists on the national & international stage.

I'd like to thank Andrea for her leadership in building @pplprs into the successful business it is today. Greg is a proven leader within the sector and a strong successor - congratulations on the appointment.

🌹🌹It is the honour of my life to be elected Member of Parliament for Bury North. To the voters who have placed their trust in me, thank you. Your faith strengthens and humbles me. And whether you voted for me or not, I promise to work tirelessly on your behalf. I am here to represent everyone across Bury North, from all our communities with the concerns we share locally, nationally and internationally. I will seek unity. Celebrate the dignity of our differences. And champion our common causes. I will be a voice for all. I will do my best for you. To my wonderful family, I owe so much, especially my incredible wife Nikki and our four beautiful children who, after 2019, helped their dad get back up off the canvass, dust off, go again and win again. I am proudest of this example for them. I am especially blessed to have such a wonderful family of volunteers. Elections burst to life with volunteers who seek a better place. They believe in better and so we should. Politics must better serve the public. We must restore faith and integrity in politics as a force for good. We will do this with action and achievements and improvements to everyday life for all. It’s time to end the chaos and dysfunction in Westminster and start to rebuild our country together. A really enjoyable weekend at #Glastonbury24. Thank you to @andreacmartin2 & @PRSforMusic for hosting me and for all of your collaboration with my @PPLUK colleagues and I. A bonus catching McKenna's acoustic set on the PRS Stage and meeting him afterwards with my daughter.

In a special feature on @PPLUK’s 90th anniversary, I spoke to Music Week on our role in the music industry, our mission to ensure performers and recording rightsholders are fairly paid, and my own journey at PPL.

It was great to go for a walk on Hampstead Heath yesterday with my @PPLUK colleague Natalie Wade as she tries to keep up her fitness during her battle with cancer. We all really miss and wish her all the best with her treatment. She is an amazing person, showing great strength!
