@sprahatish @SawyerMerritt This is a joke right? Waymo's are everywhere here. We are now 9 months since the Tesla launch, and you still can't get a ride alone. Tesla FSD is real when they tell you that you can sit in the back seat.

@SawyerMerritt Austin getting a real glimpse of the future. Seeing Cybercab, Optimus, and FSD all in one place must be an incredible experience for anyone interested in where mobility and AI are heading

Tesla is holding an autonomy pop-up in Austin for two days starting tomorrow. "During your visit, you'll get to see Cybercab, meet Optimus and experience FSD (Supervised). Food and limited Tesla merch will be available for purchase on-site."

@drjjlevine I'm not sure it recognized the hand signals. More than likely it just slowed down, and then verified the humans had stopped moving.

Okay this is wild. My Tesla stopped for pedestrians like it’s supposed to. They waved it on. And the car actually understood the hand signal… and went. No awkward pause. No confusion. It just got it. A car reading human body language in real time. On a normal street. We’re way past “driver assist” at this point. Has anyone else had FSD do something that made you stop and say… okay, this is different? $TSLA

@PeterDiamandis And what do you think your insurance rates will be if you use it as a robotaxi?

A private car spends most of its life parked. A robotaxi can run 5–10x more miles per year.  That means you could serve U.S. travel demand with tens of millions of shared robotaxis instead of hundreds of millions of privately owned cars.

@kron4news Because they only sell one model. Everyone has like 30 different cars they sell. Tesla sales in CA were down like 35% last year. Tesla had 78% marketshare in 2023, it was down to 39% in 2025

@wholemars Dude, they built out a factory that can produce 250,000 per year. They have sold about 55,000 TOTAL in 2 years. At last quarters sales pace, they have enough inventory to sell cybertrucks until 2028 and haven't produced any in 8 months. The only sales are to spacex.

@mark_k @SpaceX Musk set a goal to have a man on mars in 2025. Of course FSD was expected in 2018, per his comments in 2017. He just makes up years. SpaceX isn't even close to reaching the moon, let alone building a colony.

Elon Musk just announced a major strategic pivot for @SpaceX: the company is officially shifting its primary focus to building a "self-growing city" on the Moon. The logic is centered on speed. While Mars missions are restricted by orbital alignments every 26 months, SpaceX can launch to the Moon every 10 days. This allows for much faster iteration and development. @elonmusk estimates that a lunar city could be achieved in less than 10 years. In contrast, a similar presence on Mars is now projected to take 20 or more years to establish. Mars remains on the long-term roadmap with work potentially starting in 5 to 7 years, but the immediate priority is now "securing the future of civilization" via the faster lunar route.

@TrueFactsStated He said like 3 years ago that he would have a ship to Mars in 2025. I believe Elon saves money by buying out-of-date calendars. It is amazing how someone can be off by 20 years on something he said was coming in 2. I mean dates slip, but not 2 to 20. FSD 'next year'.

@samtilston @elonmusk @ICannot_Enough @rdd147 I'm in Austin. I see 1000 waymos for every 50 AVrides, for every 50 Zoox's for every 1 Tesla Robotaxi. I live and work downtown. It's a total sham. They are probably doing like 100 rides a week(mostly tesla employees going from the gigafactory) compared to 40,000 for waymo.

@elonmusk @ICannot_Enough @rdd147 The actual funny part is that Tesla's value now depends on whether FSD ships before Pony.ai deploys 1,000 robotaxis. Turns out 1% of infinity times zero is still zero.

The truly remarkable thing about Musk is he gets money from the government for lying in general and not based on business fundamentals. Tesla $TSLA grants/subsidies essentially mirror SpaceX “contract money” for Artemis moon trips that still never happened. Basically the more Musk ramps up lies, the more the government indiscriminately throws money at him.

@elonmusk @ICannot_Enough @rdd147 you switched from 'revenues' to 'value' pretty quick there. Up until Trump cut off your tesla subsidies, the rebates and trade were like 50% of profits at Tesla. And nobody knows what the total revenues are at SpaceX, probably minimal with no profits. 99% of value is meme

@SigrunER @RpsAgainstTrump This is false. The EU owns 40% of the US debt that is owned by foreign countries. 92% of US debt is owned by US institutions (banks, pension funds etc). So about 3.5% of US debt is owned by institutions in the EU, not the EU countries themselves.

Popular Russian blogger Kalashnikov explains that his country now faces "massive economic devastation" and inevitable collapse because the Putin regime rushed into war before the country had a chance to recover from the 1990's collapse. Also citing the immigration crisis and severe lack of technology, he implies that this "accelerated collapse" is just part of the still collapsing USSR.
