I had no idea platypus had venom, nor that the venom from the pain is not releived with pain meds.

We definitely have lots of ticks in the U.S. Many in my area cause lyme disease, which is also awful.

Watching an Australian vet show. So far a cat got bitten by a paralysis tick and a vet is trying to avoid platypus venom.
