@zoru75 Could make sense if it is made underground to avoid further traffic congestion when construction is overground.

One Ac Bus can do this BKC Loop in 1 hr
If we buy 60 Buses
We can have one bus available every 1 min
And it would cost just Rs 160 Cr
But purpose is to spend Rs 1000 Cr
So why look to spend Rs 160 Cr
My Govt
Always focused on what they can spend
Not on what benefits public

How it started & How it's going.
We pulled it off. Got a crowd fund. Hospital pitched in. Found supporters. Begged. Borrowed.
Finally this baby, coming all the way from Delhi, underwent successful liver transplantation at my centre and is now getting discharged. I must admit, I rolled the ball, but the whole game was because of so many other important people in the team and not me.
Every little macro-management and micro-management was through a small WhatsApp group, consisting of doctors from Delhi and Kochi.
Huge thanks to the pediatrics and nutrition team from AIIMS, Delhi and the transplant surgery team and critical care team at my hospital for creating this miracle, which we call medical science.
But the true heroes of this journey are these critical care and transplant nurses, and the mother who donated a part of her liver.
The mother's blood group was incompatible, so we followed a protocol to make it compatible and then transplanted part of her liver to her child with this rare genetic disease and now he can live and dream like a normal child.
A simple request on social media.
A life changing event for a son and his mother.
Glad I decided to respond.
This is the butterfly effect.

@aaraynsh The whole project is set up for corruption. Please answer me this, What’s the point of a clock tower in this day and age?
English

I was speaking to a PWD contractor of Madhya Pradesh, here’s what he told me:
Whenever a government tender is floated, 5-10% of the project cost goes into getting competitors’ files removed by officials, just to ensure the tender is awarded in their name.
Another 10–20% is paid as commission across various departments. JE and Executive Engineer have a flat rate of 1–2% of the project cost, then for licensing clearances to local municipal approvals.
Then there's a cut reserved for the local politician and local mafia, as “protection money.”
After all that, when it’s time to clear the final cheque, the clerk asks for their own cut from whatever is left.
In the end, the contractor is left with just 10–20% of the original project cost to manage everything and is under pressure to make a profit from that.
The tower that’s been circulating online since yesterday is worth ₹40 lakh.
In reality, it will barely be built with ₹1–2 lakh.
The rest?
Distributed among the so-called protectors of the system , the very people already paid with your tax money to do their jobs.

Story of Indian Post Office:
As you all know, we are shipping my wife's latest book for Pregnant Couples - Your Divine Baby Experience (see pinned post to order) to couples across India & abroad as well.
We hand pack each copy, and ship it personally via Professional / DTDC courier (Private). We have shipped 100s of books till date without any issue. Zero paperwork, UPI payments. Takes few minutes. Gets tracked online.
Today, I just went to Indian Post Office to explore Speed Post. When I entered the office, I saw long queues, and people filling forms. The people behind the counter were commanding the customers and acting with authority. Customers were visibly tired, especially lots of senior citizens.
The vibes were terrifying. I finally reached the counter, to check how much it would cost. The employee at the counter rudely told me that he would only accept Cash and would not give me an estimate until I bring cash. I only had my phone with me. I immediately left the office. They lost a business.
In 2024, if a Government Office:
- Treats Tax Paying Customers Rudely
- Has Long Paperwork for a Simple Parcel
- Accepts only CASH
- Thinks they are GOD
It's time @IndiaPostOffice introspects !!!
I immediately went to DTDC office and sent the parcel. I might have paid ₹50 extra, but the service is unbeatable. Professional.
Writing this to show how Public Offices should Buck up & Help society. Not command Society 😃
Love,

No one has given more to their sport. Or left it all on the court every single time. @RafaelNadal, you showed us what it takes to be the greatest. It only takes everything.

@law_ninja Very true. Went to Lanka instead of Goa too. Much better holiday experience. Feel bad about Goa though. All the potential it had.
English

Tourism in Goa is down in dumps
Foreign tourists have abandoned the state already. Look at 2019 v 2023 numbers. Russians and Brits who used to visit annually have opted for Sri Lanka instead.
Indian tourists still visiting, but soon likely to ditch it as word spreads about exploitation of tourists while there are so many cheaper comparable locations abroad

English

@duggu_tej Same here. But I have received in the past. All the best!
English

@pgautam01 I didn’t get that either until now
So can I still keep my hopes on it??
English

@gauravsabnis No doubt about Rafa. But very ill informed judgement on Djokovic. More media driven than reality. He is the most liked by his peers. Pls take some time to formulate an independent opinion and not blindly follow the mass narrative. Has done more for tennis players than the big 3.
English

Always and forever!
Rafael Nadal always made you wonder how can someone so successful be so nice!
Djokovic always makes you wonder how can someone so successful be so petty, mean, racist, misogynist, anti science, anti humanity, and just a horrible human being!
Nagesh Srigiriraju@yachu9
@gauravsabnis Vamos Rafa!
English

@duggu_tej @JamesH They send you a mail that you were not successful.

@AustinTunnell I remember, my friend’s parents used to take month long vacations to Florida to avoid working more since that would attracting even more taxes.
