@DavidGHFrost @Fox_Claire Exactly that , digital ID will become essential to function in society and can be cancelled by the government if it so decides .

My primary concern is not the data. It's that a digital ID will not be used for proof but for control - that you'll soon need a digital ID to be allowed to do certain things and that the govt will set the conditions for that. Then it is only one further step to having to remain in good standing with the govt to be able to carry on a normal life.

I incline to this. But I can't help feeling that Angela Rayner would have been utterly merciless toward a Tory politician who had complex living arrangements and had taken incorrect legal advice which resulted in them avoiding tax. In fact, I think she'd hound them out of office.

@Adrian_Hilton I can understand the interest in placing her house in trust for her children but these are not unprecedented transactions. The stamp duty to be paid is clear, either she had the worst tax adviser ever or has misrepresented her position.

A sidenote on this, while it’s not confirmed, this embargo all but confirms that #SWFC have breached the EFL’s 30-day rule and are now in the midst of a three-window transfer fee restriction, too. The embargo will be lifted when the wages are paid, the fee restrictions won’t.
