Safaricom removed a perfectly working M-Pesa app and forced this ‘one app’ on everyone, for what?
It keeps freezing, lagging, crashing, and can’t even search contacts properly.
Now, after the latest update, I need a SIM card on my phone just to use an app in 2026??
Did anyone even test this thing before rollout?
Nothing about this is better. Nothing.
People are just enduring it because there’s no alternative.
You can’t tell me I’m the only one dealing with this

@omondirana @sholard_mancity You don't need to use Safaricom data. When aithenticating, we need you to have the primary data line being the Safaricom line to authenticate you. After, that you can use any data connection to use the app

The app is Zero rated thus doesnt use any of your data.
You need to have your Safaricom line as the primary data line during the sign in process to authenticate you and you can then use any data connection after that
