That seems very improbable, that's not how schizophrenic allucinations work. As far as I know, schizophrenic pacients are not able to separate reality from allucinatons.

I believe he had an atypical form of schizophrenia or his psychiatric symptoms were contributed by something else that was not schizophrenia or another possibility was that great brain capacity can stand against the mental illness itself. Very puzzling case. A typical schizophrenia’s brain deteriorates over the years. It does not stop the progression of the mental illness in early middle age, or would have the insight of the symptoms without the medications after 11 years with severe symptoms which require many inpatient hospitalizations. Person who suffers from schizophrenia, the mind deteriorates severely, even though the symptoms would become more stable in old age, 70s, with less severe symptoms.

Mathematician John Nash struggled with schizophrenia. His life, marked by his brilliant academic achievements and his battle with mental illness, was depicted in the biographical film “A Beautiful Mind.”

This equation is a Quantum Field Interaction equation. It describes how the state of a physical system Ψ changes as a result of its interaction with a Quantum Field like electromagnetism, described by the potential energy U that arises from the field.
