I understand the value of being a PA but the thought of my fiance and I going into the same specialty as a PA and MD truly boggles my family’s mind and I will constantly get questions about why we’re “essentially doing the same job but I’m paid more and went to school for longer”

The average home stair height is 6-8 inches. The ability to traverse this height can very well be the determinant if a person can leave their home, ambulate in the community, or live independently. Fragility is fatal. These people are doing it for reps. Choice is yours. @clinicafascia #physiatry #function #training

Aggressively going after asymptomatic BP elevation was not just useless; it seemed to be harmful...

A chronically shortened pec minor (adaptive change due to repetitive throwing) can negatively affect performance and lead to pain syndromes such as nTOS/pec minor syndrome. Throwing athletes cannot neglect regular work on pec minor stretching and scapular retraction/mechanics.
Armored Heat@ArmoredHeat

Love this view to show how a tight Pec Minor can lead to a Forward Tipped Scapula It can also restrict the Posterior Tilt at layback which can either decrease layback ROM or force the local Shoulder Joint to make up for it Unlock your Pec Minor for a Clean/Free Layback ⛽️💰

This is Zeus. He miraculously survived a tornado that tossed him across his neighborhood in his crate. When it tore through his town in Nebraska last week with maximum wind speeds of 165 miles per hour, Zeus was inside in his kennel. The sudden cyclone completely flattened their home, but Zeus' crate was found four blocks away with a broken door, and he was found two blocks away patiently waiting on a mattress for help. Rescuers believe the crate saved his life. The pup, who ironically shares a name with the Greek god of the sky, sustained only minor injuries: a scrape on his nose, a few torn toenails, and a sore hind leg. He's recuperating at a local boarding facility free of charge while his family works to rebuild their home. His caretakers say he's in great spirits despite everything he's been through. 14/10

I’ll be happy when I become a resident, it’ll make all this studying worth it I’ll be happy when I am an attending… that will solve my burnout It’ll be happy when I buy a house… or car… or… This is called an arrival fallacy, and it’s a big problem for a lot of doctors 1/
