@levelsio there is so much organized coordination in social media. recently I talked to a marketing girl who quit her job. I asked: your product was so cool, everyone talked about it, why you left? she said: literally every person who talked about it was either paid or a bot we managed

@levelsio Henry still has a point though and it's not really about which substance is more addictive. If you eat healthy, lift, do cardio (and get good sleep), you should be able to have energy throughout the day without caffeine.

People keep saying this but nicotine is FAR more addictive than nicotine I'd be quite suspicious of a $873B tobacco industry being able to manipulate public opinion about nicotine via influencers and media etc., They've pulled this shit before in the 1950s convincing doctors to prescribe cigarettes for throat/cough/lung issues! They need people on Zyn etc. to survive when the smokers die out or stop smoking after all The tobacco industry are also the ones pushing for this comparison of nicotine to caffeine to make it look less dangerous: "Why Big Tobacco and Big Vape love comparing nicotine to caffeine" The reality: "Nicotine changes how the brain works, making it one of the most addictive substances in the world" "It's a different drug altogether, and it has much worse effects than caffeine. @zamdoteth Makes sense. For me it's quality over quantity. Do (half) day trips on the weekends, go to special places for dinner, surprise her and don't just spend time. At least that's been working well for me.
