With 🇨🇦 selecting the Type 212 CD over the 🇰🇷 KSS-III for the Canadian Patrol Submarine (CPS) Project. Both designs are also competing for the 🇵🇭 Subamrine Project too! Though instead of TKMS its Fincantieri offering the Type 212NFS Submarine to the PN in collab with TKMS

Nor can justice and accountability be superceded by an alleged 80% bar exams grade, of which no documentary proof has been presented.

Quite a prudent choice. While it is specifically unguided, it can be installed with an FCS complete with a laser rangefinder, thermal sights, and even is compatible with extended range ammunition.

I like the idea of having comparable capabilities with other SEA. but the Philippine Navy’s modernization is driven by its own operational requirements, which differ significantly from Indonesia’s. Matching another ASEAN navy is neither the objective nor the requirement. 1/2

Korean analysts are confident that the Korea Aerospace Industries 🇰🇷 will secure the Multi-Role Fighter deal of the @PhilAirForce 🇵🇭, gaining from the success of the FA-50 Block-70 export. This is as @dndphl Sec. Gibo Teodoro announced that KF-21 is one of the viable MRF choices.

BREAKING: A Philippine Navy service member was injured after members of the China Coast Guard allegedly struck him with a wooden baton during an encounter near BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin Shoal on Monday, July 20, the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) said. According to the AFP, a China Coast Guard rigid hull inflatable boat approached the grounded warship before Philippine Navy rubber boats drove it away. The military said China Coast Guard personnel then acted "violently and aggressively," injuring a Navy sailor and damaging one of the Philippine boats. The AFP said the injured personnel received immediate medical attention and reaffirmed that Philippine troops will continue lawful missions in the West Philippine Sea despite what it described as China's "illegal, coercive, aggressive and deceptive actions."

You know you messed up when even your local allies condom your AI-slop propaganda for being racists and may actually worsen anti-chinese sentiment in the country that will effect the Chinese-Filipino community
Inquirer@inquirerdotnet

LOOK: The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) President Victor Lim released a statement on the AI-Generated Video Released by China Daily: The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) expresses its profound disappointment over the AI-generated video released by China Daily portraying the Philippines through a derogatory caricature. We respectfully urge that this video be taken down and removed. No matter how sincere or deeply held the differences between governments on maritime or territorial issues, there can be no justification for depictions that demean the dignity of an entire nation. Honest disagreements should never descend into ridicule or ad hominem attacks. The Philippines and China have been friends, neighbors, and trading partners for more than a thousand years. Our bilateral relationship is far broader and far more enduring than any single political or territorial disagreement. Such issues are best addressed through diplomacy, mutual respect, and constructive dialogue—not through imagery that risks inflaming public sentiment or undermining goodwill between our peoples. FFCCCII remains steadfast in promoting friendship, peace, business and investments, trade, cultural understanding, and mutually beneficial cooperation between the Philippines and China. Let us not allow temporary disagreements to overshadow centuries of shared history and partnership. Instead, let us choose wisdom over anger, respect over contempt, dialogue over division, and work together toward a more peaceful and prosperous future for both nations. | 📷: FFCCCII via @dMorcosoINQ

Though the AW109 will not be permanently embarked on the Rajah Sulayman-class offshore patrol vessel (OPV) they could be used for shore-to-ship logistical support while for ISTAR they will rely on VTOL Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) like the HighEye AirBoxer shown here.

With news of a 5th & 6th Miguel Malvar-class soon to be signed!? With 2 AW159 Wildcat and 6 more on order for a total of 8. So breaking it down is one each for 2 of the Jose Rizal-class & 6 for the Miguel Malvar-class. While AW109E are re-assigned to Tarlac-class LPD or RSCOPV!
Keen Sentinel@Keen_Sentinel

With the Philippines expecting to have six Malvar-class frigates from South Korea, it has become apparent that the six ordered AW-159 helicopters are actually meant for the new frigates instead of the six Rajah Sulayman-class OPVs which seems to operate UAVs instead.
