As I said on radio this morning, I would start Hagens in Boston and see how he does. But I do also see a legitimate case for Providence. There is less precedent for players jumping from college to an NHL playoff race in their D+1 season than people seem to think.

He’s skilled and talented but that only scratches the surface of what you need in the NHL. Also, again, 21st overall pick vs 7th overall is not comparable. Massively different.
