In the past 20 minutes, during the back 9 of a major, NBC has had two full commercial breaks and a Playing Through. Absolutely unwatchable, soulless broadcast. #theopen

That is one of the most absurd birdies I have ever seen. I do not agree with that rule or ruling and the R&A should be ashamed of what they just allowed to happen at this point in the tournament. There is no way of actually knowing if a ball ended up in the TIO area if you don't find the golf ball.

This was such an opportunity to provide great insight as a player about what you're thinking in the moment and what you're trying to do there. And then either exonerate Bryson and go after the R&A or say that Bryson was completely in the wrong and should be more careful about stomping around in the fescue. Give an example of when that's happened to you or when you've seen it happen to others. And he made a WWE-Bryson joke and went on and on about the walking official. Bryson threatening to not play tomorrow is some of the most dramatic, performative stuff I've ever seen from a professional golfer. At the absolute minimum, it's extremely reasonable to understand how the R&A reached the decision they did based on the video evidence. Take the penalty, and play the game. You're three shots back in a major heading into the weekend. I don't think he actually won't play, but to do this is just one big massive 🙄

Its offical - the Open Championship needs to be removed from the list of majors going forward. Links golf is no longer a challenge to the modern golfer. It should be replaced with the Players Championship.

Gambling on the Open Championship sucks because you wake up and immediately see how dead all of your tickets are
