How to identify ugly mass tourism places before you visit them?
In Europe, they usually have certain retail stores (e.g. Spar) or bars (Irish pubs).
But one thing defines them very precisely - quantity of Euronet ATMs.
These yellow/blue🟨🟦 ATMs are designed to scam tourists.
There are 312 of them in Mallorca🇪🇸
I downloaded all from Google Maps and made a heat map.
Knowing Mallorca well, seems to be accurate. Will try on more places.

I mean, the number one reason I use a bike is its efficiency, with convenience and economy close seconds. Trams and trains are extremely efficient but even they can be subject to disruptions and timetable constraints. And cars? You've got to be freaking kidding me!

The bicycle was invented in the mid-1800s. In the subsequent 175 years, humanity has found more efficient alternatives to transport people in terms of both speed, efficiency, and convenience. Redesigning streets to disproportionately accommodate a solution that has already been summarily rejected by the masses and praying for some induced demand is not a way to run a transportation department nor city in the 21st century.
