Sanctions and political isolation may slow things down, but would China, Belarus, Hungary join that? I don't know the answer, but stopping the constant killing is, IMO, a start.

The war has already consumed Ukraine. The whole question was sorted diplomatically years ago but Russia broke the deal.

Zelenskyy may have to agree to some things for now that he doesn't want to - that's the price of peace

You said that Russians should get to keep occupied lands, but they want more so they refuse ceasefire and negotiations.
