in visionOS 26, we can use defaultLaunchBehavior to specify which windows should reappear after launch. We can prevent secondary windows and volumes from reappearing, solving one of the most common issues with multi-scene apps without using Scene Phase. stepinto.vision/example-code/h…

It’s a real honour to be promoted to full Professor, and I’m deeply grateful to the many mentors, colleagues, and students who’ve made this possible. I feel especially fortunate, within the @TEQ_Neurosurg group, to work at the interface of surgery, neurology, and engineering – and to collaborate with brilliant teams across the @QSNeurosurgery, the UCL Queen Square Institute of Neurology, the UCL Hawkes institute, and now our robotics spin-out, Panda Surgical. Translating technologies from lab to operating theatre has been a real team effort, and the achievement is as much theirs as it is mine.
