The Arboretum is open today (Monday 23 October), from 10am. The Armed Forces Memorial, memorials nearest to the Remembrance Centre, indoor exhibitions, Sensory Play Area, Restaurant, Coffee Shop and Shop, can all be accessed during your visit. 1/2

Injury update: thanks for your kind messages. Actually it’s worse than I imagined. 3 fractures, broken ankle, cast up to my thigh & surgery (plates & screws in my ankle) probably this afternoon. It’s likely I’ll be in hospital for a few days before working out how to get home.

I had a tour of the @poppylegion @Nat_Mem_Arb today with Philippa Rawlinson, Director of Remembrance and Andy Ansell, Head of Estates. The arboretum offers so much, whilst paying tribute to lost service personnel. I would recommend that you visit and support the work being done.
