I feel my boy @PumpaMeta here. When I launched The Gay And Retarded Coin, I had tons of dms that I was insane for trying to dev a good coin in this environment. I spent the last two month's bagworking everyday- coordinating irl marketing (6100 scans on our posters in LA btw, directing people to gayandretarded.net), making art, talking to lawyers, and trying to breathe life into an idea that is the best representation of our times; Everything is Gay and Retarded. The marketing is so prolific, one of our poster installers was arrested and spent hours in jail for hate speech- a case The Gay And Retarded Corporation will be fighting in court over the coming months. I'm down over 25k personal funds, and all fees have went into the irl videos, irl marketing campaigns, art, and buying the chart (6% burned). Everyone agrees that the coin is great and deserves higher, yet everyone's too scared to hold. Some of my best friends in the space wrote fomo thesis's and sold for a few grand profits within days. Every retrace, I received 100 dms asking if it was over. It's mentally draining, but this is the job of the dev, and this is what I signed up for. I'm not worried though, I know what I hold. I'll be OTC'ing my supply to cexes either this year or next. Some of the best culture coin collectors and cult enthusiasts in the space still hold, love the coin, and support me.
